The Steamship (SS) Rotterdam is a real gem for cruise fanatics, but also for the regular tourist. This amazing cruise ship is given the nickname La Grande Dame because of its beautiful interior design and its size.
The SS Rotterdam is the former flagship of the Holland-America Line and the biggest ocean-going steamer ever built in the Netherlands. After a 51-year life at sea, the SS Rotterdam since 2010 is moored permanently in the Maashaven in Rotterdam as a hotel and visitor attraction.
